Fabio Pengo is a general manager with wide-ranging experience in the Operations and ICT sector. Working at leading international companies for more than 25 years, Fabio has proven his ability to lead teams and develop winning strategies to optimise processes and maximise operational efficiency.
After gaining a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Fabio began his career in the technical department of a major manufacturing company in the electronics sector. Through his dedication and ability to solve complex problems, he rapidly rose through the ranks with increasingly important roles in Operations, finally becoming IT Director. While in this role he led a project to overhaul the company ERP system, concluding its implementation and roll-out within the different production units.
In 2007, as part of a pathway to complete his managerial training, he studied for a master’s degree at the Sole 24ore Business School focusing on Strategy and Business Management.
After this he worked in roles of increasing responsibility, managing complex projects in Italy and abroad to implement new information systems for major clients at IT service companies. During this time, having a deep passion for technological progress, Fabio continuously embraced new challenges through innovation in ICT and digitalisation, creating advanced data management solutions and automated systems aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of production processes.
In the role of Delivery Officer, he led complex projects on behalf of both Italian and international customers. In 2013, he studied PMP techniques and methodologies for optimising and improving the management of complexity.
Fabio clearly demonstrated his talent for managing assigned resources when he was chosen as Director of Operations at a medium-sized manufacturer of medical devices. In this context, his contribution to the company’s growth and organisation was decisive. His management style encouraged professional growth by creating a stimulating and collaborative working environment. Through his talent for data analysis and risk management, he helped to ensure that the company remained competitive in an increasingly dynamic global market.
Fabio Pengo is currently involved in management consulting, leading projects in ICT, business development and product development within the medical device industry. He continues to lead teams to success on behalf of the organisation through his strategic vision and leadership skills.
